Never disappointed! The discounted menu for Coolinary Month brought us in for a $25 three course meal. Service impeccable and so very accommodating. We added on some a la carte items, the puffed potatoes and Oysters Rockefeller. I hate to disparage another reviewer but to call these potatoes "nothing but chips" is an insult of the highest order. Creole tomato and corn salad, desalamands fried catfish, and pecan bread pudding all outstanding. A loaf of delicious warm bread. Yum all around. And I could brag that I ate at Antoine's!

What can you say but a classic! Love the mocktails menu. They were great if the same price as a regular cocktail ( full experience of drinking without alcohol?) They had individual baked Alaska that aren't shown on the regular menu so I was able to get one even though my dinner partner wanted the bread pudding. Becky and her underwaiter were super attentive and helpful. Our only complaint was the seating. Those of us with hips do not appreciate these types of seats! Give me a normal flat backed chair any day!

I loved loved loved this place for its history, location, and vibe. It made me think of both the hotel in the Shining AND the banquet hall from Dirty Dancing in a weird way (odd mix I know). The service was friendly and relaxed. Overall the food was like a banquet style/wedding venue - good but not great. The French onion soup and the soufflé potatoes were outstanding but the steak dish was ok. I recommend coming here to see one the oldest restaurants in America, for the history and for the appetizers. I think that baked Alaska looked pretty good too! Saw a couple wiz by on trays but was too full to try.

This is a very classy restaurant. The ambience is very elegant and service is very attentive. Came here for lunch and pleasantly surprised that the prices were actually very reasonable. They have a three course lunch special for $25 that is a really good deal. The three of us shared a Seafood Gumbo, Shrimp and Grits, Petite Filet with Marchand de Vin, and a three course special with Baby Greens and Louisiana Strawberry Salad, Soft-Shell Crab Meunière, and Pecan Bread Pudding. That's plenty of food and everything tasted good. The salad was delicious and refreshing. The Shrimp and Grits tasted really nice, we only wished the grits had more texture. The Petite Filet was actually very good size and very tender. I didn't care much about the Marchand de Vin sauce, it had a tint of anchovy taste to it. Will need to come back and try their dinner next time we're back in New Orleans.
